Self Esteem
There is a more confident, self-assured version of yourself waiting to shine through. I can help you find the ‘best you.’
Low self – esteem often plays a significant role in both anxiety and depression. By not believing in your abilities, you tend to let opportunities pass you by. Perhaps, you will procrastinate as you believe you will fail. After all, it’s hard to muster up the courage and energy to put your best foot forward if you’re convinced you don’t have what it takes to succeed. This behavioural pattern results in poor performance, and as a result, your lack of confidence in your abilities is reinforced. And the vicious cycle continues.
I use a combination of Hypnotherapy, Cognitive behavioural therapy CBT, mindfulness and NLP to gain proven effective results.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: is a method of identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking or beliefs and learning new, more helpful ways of thinking about difficult situations. CBT for self-esteem quickly identifies your thinking about your ability or value. It also identifies what you may think or believe about other’s judgments. CBT provide effective tools and techniques to help you think and feel positive.
Mindfulness: is a skill desined to help you be in the present moment, and not get so caught up in thoughts and concerns. Most of our stress anxiety is found going over the past or projecting pain in the future. Mindfulness helps to stay present and enjoy this very moment. Mindfulness can help you to be less hard on yourself and reduce second-guessing your own performance in difficult situations, thus improving confidence.
Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy allows me to gently access your subconscious mind; which reveals the real, deeper reasons for our actions, thoughts and beliefs. Often, we don’t know why we have self-esteem concerns and listening to our self-defeating mind chatter just make us more unclear of reasons.
Hypnosis uses the ability of the brain to create new thoughts and feelings. I often ask people to go back to a time when they felt these unwanted emotions, under Hypnosis. Through this experience, the root cause of the problem is discovered. It isn’t the same as re-experiencing a trauma; you are aware of everything that is happening as an observer.
Hypnotherapy helps you experience a brighter, better outlook by creating a future timeline. In this future, you are doing something you love, feeling rewarded with energy and happiness. In this future moment or future memory, your brain will create subconscious expectations and positive emotions and beliefs about your future.
